Tech CNC was founded in 1986 to serve the local Southern Ontario
market with sales and service of used machine tools and accessories.
Over the years the company expanded to sell used equipment throughout
Canada and into the United States. In the past ten years the company
began to concentrate primarily on the used CNC (computer numerical
control) machinery market and has developed and maintained a loyal
customer base in great part due to the company’s ability to
service the equipment its sells.

“Owing
to an increasing customer demand, the company
has become involved in supplying new CNC machine tools. In early 2001
Top Tech CNC imported its first NEW product, CNC lathes
from Baoji Machine Tool Works in China. This was followed shortly
by new vertical machining centers from Smartech works
also in China. These products have proven to satisfy a certain niche
of customers in the local market, but the demand continued to exist
for a broader and more technically driven product line.
This led to an agreement in early 2002
between Top Tech CNC and Monarch Machine Tools of Cortland NY to
represent their range of stand-alone and turnkey
vertical machining centers, along with the Unisign travelling column
machining center line for which Monarch Machine Tools has the North
American distribution rights. The agreement covers the region of
Eastern Canada.
In addition, in the summer of 2002, Top Tech CNC
signed an agreement with Spinner Machine Tools of Sauerlach
(Munich), Germany to distribute their complete range of machining
centers and CNC lathes throughout Eastern Canada. The Spinner
line of products also includes precision machining centers manufactured
by Realmeca of France.”
